We are running two open access courses in the Spring of 2026 in London and Manchester. 

This face to face course is a highly engaging educational experience which always achieves outstanding feedback from participants because it is directly applicable to the real world challenges of facilitating AARs. The workshop enables powerful learning through a series of live AAR practice sessions which are filmed and reviewed, so that all participants get to  learn how to create psychologically safe and highly productive AARs.

As a result, participants will be able to: –

• • Facilitate successful AARs for groups of people of all grades  

• • Know how to create psychological safety during an AAR:  F2F as well as online

• • Use the “five switches” of advanced facilitation to achieve maximum learning 

• • Know how to involve other stakeholders, such as clients, patients and their families in AARs

• • Understand personal and organisational barriers which might get in the way of conducting AARs 

• • Understand the potential pitfalls when conducting AARs and how to mitigate them.  

• • Understand the research evidence for AARs
