The story begins in a busy London hospital, where Judy Walker spent years leading clinical teams and improving patient care. In that high-pressure environment, Judy discovered the transformative power of AAR. These structured conversations created a safe space for reflection, where no one was blamed, yet everyone learned. The results were remarkable—teams grew stronger, processes improved, and patient outcomes benefited.

Inspired by this impact, Judy wanted to take AAR beyond healthcare. But the NHS doesn’t sell its expertise to the business world, so in 2019 she stepped into the private sector. Over the next seven years, Judy worked with global corporations, charities, and healthcare providers, facilitating AARs across continents and training hundreds of professionals to lead them confidently.

In 2024, Judy took the most exciting step yet—founding Judy Walker Associates Ltd. Her vision was clear: to help organisations everywhere embrace the “AAR Advantage”. Today, we deliver online courses, in-person workshops, and bespoke facilitation for businesses of all sizes and sectors. From supply chain disruptions to IT challenges, from difficult conversations to everyday operations, we show teams how to turn reflection into results.

The approach is values-driven, shaped by Judy’s first career supporting children and families through cancer treatment. That experience taught her the importance of listening, adapting, and giving people a voice—principles that remain at the heart of our work.

The business is growing fast, adding new associates and expanding its online offerings. Our workshops bring together over 15 years of expertise in AAR, giving leaders, risk managers, and organisational development professionals the tools to create psychologically safe spaces and extract maximum learning from every event.
